Providing
wedding videos, throughout
*Coverage Usually up to 12 hours on the day and
heaps of time afterwards – your choice- Middle Package
Bride’s Preparation - we usually start approximately 2 hours before the
ceremony time.
Groom’s Preparation
- while the Bride is getting dressed we usually go to
the Groom’s Preparation.
Then,
go back to the Bride’s preparation – the wedding dress on and the emotions are
running high.
If
there is insufficient time for the above we usually swap the starting scene to
the Groom’s Preparation, then we go to the Bride’s Preparation till just before
the Bride leaves home.
Another
alternative is to go to the Bride’s Preparation and then catch the Groom at the
Ceremony.
Ceremony–
happy & excited Guests arriving, anxious Groom – did they forget the rings?
Bride’s
arrival in style and elegance, a relieved Groom, entrance of the Bride, the
ceremony itself showing the formality of the occasion– the readers using
directional microphones, vows using radio microphones where possible, the
signing, musicians , etc., followed by guest congratulations.
Photo
shoot - creative, beautiful & romantic shots put together with background
music. The tension has been released and Bridal Party is extremely happy &
relaxed – a mixture of detailed beauty and fun.
Reception
–shots of the venue before the entrance
of the guests and the Guests mingling before the B & G’s entrance (if
possible), entrance of the Bridal Party,
shots guests mingling – happy faces - guests really enjoying themselves, with
background music ( to cut out the room noise of chatter), the speeches using
radio microphones and the Bridal Waltz using radio microphones (if possible),
the dancing & romancing that follows with all of your guests – your loving
feeling spills out to others – it seems like everyone is in love, the garter
throwing, the bouquet, the circle and finally your leaving for your honeymoon
night.

Chances are we’ll be able to show you a wedding that took place at your venues,
with your celebrant, singer/disco, etc.
*DVDs Designed
to last 100 years but can be ruined by a simple scratch. We urge you to
“back-up” your disks.
DVD machines are only required to play
“Replicated” disks, such as “Hollywood” Movies available from commercial DVD
hire stores. To order this type of disk creation you need a minimum order of
around 1000 copies of each disk. This can be done, but is costly and must be
specially ordered. Morrow Video, like
all other Wedding DVD manufacturers, provides “Duplicated” or so called “Burnt”
disks such as DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-R
DL, DVD+R DL (DVD-R unless specifically requested). Burnt disks are created/burnt using Computers or DVD recorders. This is the
more affordable option. Similar to burnt CDs, burnt DVDs play on some DVD players only and may
not play properly all the time (No refunds – check your DVD handbook or our
samples). Some machines will only play properly certain brands of disks or low quality
recorded disks. Also, if your laser is on the way out, some machines may
“freeze up” or “skip”.
*Editing Our packages
vary depending on the amount of time covered on your wedding day & editing
afterwards.
Wedding
Day Coverage is designed to keeps
prices low. Coverage time up to 8 hours, the video is shot using an
“unobtrusive” style which requires minimal editing.
Our
Middle Package is designed so that the camera operator can capture
almost “everything” and the editor has choices to make after the event – eg.
Which shot is better, rather than the standard shot must be used. (usually 36+ hours editing). The camera operator doesn’t have
to be cautious, always on a tripod – he can be mobile, move easily to get the
best shots and best sound and avoid blocking other’s view. The operator can
experiment, be creative, exceptional shots are encouraged – the editor will
make a master piece out of it, later.
Extensive
Editing allows other styles such as “Personality” and “Artistic” Styles. Your DVD will be end up
more than an excellent record, but as a work of art and very personal. You’ll be able to truly re-live the
excitement, beauty,
romance, formality, the feelings that your guests held just for
you as well as your feelings on your special day, your wedding day.
The
Middle Package may include your wedding invitation, growing-up or recent photos
of the Bride & Groom, a thankyou list, special effects, your choice of CD
music ( usually around 10 tracks), or we can choose for you, highlights
(optional Extra), photo gallery (optional Extra) and of course creation of DVDs
& CDs.
NB: Photos, titles & music must be
provided before the wedding so that your DVD can be available ASAP after your
wedding, usually one week.
The goal of editing is to
“Spruce up” the video. Editing also can make the video “shorter” and “sharper”
thus improving your DVD quality. You may delete non-essential shots, add effects
& otherwise modify video information. It improves the audio by switching
between sources, microphones & CD music, adding audio effects, EQ effects,
blending, etc. Editing helps the movie to flow (music helps a lot too), it keeps the audience with you, entertained, crying or
happy.
If you would like to be present when
we edit your Wedding, you’re welcome, but conditions apply - we
must be notified at least 2 weeks prior wedding date, when an editing
appointment will be arranged.
*Equipment The equipment
we use is constantly being updated. Television cameras give gutsier pictures
(better signal to noise ratio), sharper pictures (eg. more detail in the
wedding gown), truer colours ( skin tones are more
accurate) and far superior low light performance (if you can see it, we can
record it. Although, obviously the more light you have the better the picture
quality). Directional and radio
microphones give clearer sound. Dedicated editing computers give Morrow Video
our excellent results.

weddings since 1984, Morrow Video Productions has recorder over 1500 weddings,
including many of the Knight’s former footballers such as “Footy Show” host
Paul & Pamela Harrigan. We have a “Thankyou
album” if you would like to check some out – or come to our studio and pick any
DVD at random.
Because
of Morrow Video’s experience (equipment and personnel) we usually obtain the
best possible pictures and sound under the circumstances – eg. If you have the
lights out or dimmed in the venue we will video using available light only (unless
you request otherwise – NB: we can
advise on the best site for speeches, etc. so we make the most of available
light & utilise the best sound sources where available) - it’s your day and
you’re No:1. Remember you can check out other weddings we’ve shot in the same

*Guidance The
videographer is usually the professional who spends
the most time with the Bride & Groom on the day and with over 1500
weddings, our experience can guide you with the many questions you may have
regarding weddings.
*Highlights 5-30
minutes –your choice of duration. We spend another day on your wedding reducing
the Highlights size down to your requested length. Our aim to
get as much as possible into a small space. Some friends may not want to
watch the full version. Highlights usually involves a “Movie” Style – all put
to music with special effects. However it can involve just reducing the length
of your video - for example we may reduce the speakers down to one or two
sentences - just to get the crux of their speech – it’s up to you.
*Hint Treating the camera operator as one of your guests and seating the
camera operator with your guests helps enormously. If you are seen to
highly value the presence of the camera operator, then your guests feel
encouraged to do likewise and this is reflected on your Wedding DVD.
*Photo Gallery Video still frames are held usually for 4 seconds
each. Each still is dissolved to the next. Your choice of background music can
be added. This becomes a photo gallery similar to a photo album but put onto
DVD with stills off the video. The
quality is not as good as photographs and the stills will not be the same as
your photographer’s photos. The stills are edited on computer, to improve their
quality, before being placed in the “photo gallery”. Duration of the stills can
be changed.
*Photos off DVD The Photo
Gallery can be put onto CD as an optional extra.
*Product Our product
will be completed ASAP, usually within one week. You will receive 4 sets of
personally labelled DVD-R disks encased in a plastic DVD case holder, fitted
with a personalised cover page with stills off your video. NB Unedited package
only include Mini DV masters.
*Staff All our staff are very experienced.
As at this date of publication all our staff have videotaped hundreds of weddings.
The camera operator counts most – if you don’t get the shots in the first place
then the editor has nothing to work with later. Our staff are
also reliable, however, we do have back-up staff and back-up equipment
available should the unthinkable happen.
*Styles We
realise everyone is different and you may like a different style, technique or
what ever. If we don’t already provide this, let us know or show us and we will
do our utmost to provide this.
